About:

My client is a well know construction company that specialises in facades and cladding and remedial works they operate throughout the UK however this role would be working from the Leicester office. 

Due to substantial growth, they are currently looking to recruit a Document Controller to assist their team on a permanent basis both in the office and on site.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be involved in but not limited to the following:

Office based:

  • Responsible for all the latest architect drawings on all projects
  • Maintaining company CAD drawing folders/register
  • Site inductions
  • Submitting drawings to clients
  • Liaising with on-site logistics department Operations & Maintenance manuals
  • Maintenance of client project team details Live job folder updating on server.
  • Creating and uploading / sending benchmarks Creating weekly reports and programmes
  • Snag sheet completion
  • R Drive (snagging management tool) building Maintaining hard copy folders on all projects
  • Adhoc administrative duties for contracts managers

Requirements:

The successful applicant will be extremely organised and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word to a good standard.
