They are looking to expand their amazing finance team and are excited to welcome a new Accounts Payable Assistant to the company.Your new role

  • Within this role, there is lots of scope for progression and to take on additional responsibility over a period of time.
  • As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier price lists.
  • Processing high volume invoices and invoice queries.
  • Reconciling supplier statements, raising supplier payments, and processing bank payments.
  • You will also maintain and create new supplier accounts, assist with health and safety documentation updates, and handle chamber export certificates along with other ad hoc duties.

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Packages and intermediate-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication, including both written and verbal and a willingness to assist with project and ad hoc work as and when required.
  • A can-do attitude is imperative for this role and the ability to work well within a team and use your own initiative to complete tasks independently.
