Blackburn with Darwen Childrens Services, who have recently been rated 'Good' in its full ILACS Ofsted inspection, require an experienced agency team manager to oversee a small team of Social Workers in its Safeguarding and Support service, including the management oversight of child protection, pre-proceedings and care proceedings cases, and also manage the transfer of cases from the duty and assessment teams as part of the duty rota.
Must have a up to date clear DBS and references, have efficient IT inputting skills with previous knowledge of Protocol LCS system an advantage.
Must be flexible and although hybrid working arrangements are in place, presence in the office would be expected when necessary to meet the service need.
