The role involves developing individual support strategies, fostering confidence, and working closely with the SENCO and classroom teacher.
Candidates should have experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs and possess a Level 2/3 TA qualification, although a compassionate approach and good communication skills are essential.
This is a full-time temporary position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm, starting ASAP.
The pay rate for this role is £15.94 per hour.

1:1 Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn

Romano Education is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil with SEN at a primary school in Blackpool.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide focused 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN
Assist in developing individual support strategies
Encourage progress through tailored interventions and guidance
Work closely with the SENCO and classroom teacher
Foster confidence and participation in learning

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs
A compassionate and encouraging approach
Team player with good communication skills
Level 2/3 TA qualification preferred
