Job Description:We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with autism and delayed development. You will work closely with the child, providing tailored support to aid their learning and development, including behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with non-verbal children and those with delayed development
  • Strong understanding of autism and behaviour management techniques
  • Relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
