Job Title: Temporary Finance Manager (8-Week Contract)
Location: Blackburn
About the Role:
Search are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join an organisation on a temporary basis for 8 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who can quickly step into a leadership role and provide stability and support during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
- Supervise and support the finance team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is desirable
- Proven experience in a finance manager or similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE 50 and Microsoft Excel including V-Look Ups and Pivot tables
- Must have a small SME background
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
What We Offer:

- Hourly rate equivalent to £52,000.
- Flexible: Full time or part time (30-40 hours)
