This role pays a competitive salary of 40,000 - 42,000 annum depending on experience.
Responsibilities as a Criminal Duty Solicitor :
- Represent defendants during hearings at the magistrate's court, often in the early stages of criminal proceedings.
- Part of the out of hours rota for police station attendance
- Advise individuals detained at police stations during interviews and questioning.
- If not Duty qualified a willingness to become accredited.
- 3-5 Years PQE in Criminal Duty Solicitor.
- Dealing with high caseloads from start to completion in Criminal Law.
- Own strong client following
- Ability to build relationships with other professionals and third parties.
