Look no further! We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Cover Teacher with PGCE/QTS qualifications to become an essential part of our dynamic team.Then look no further - We're currently offering an opportunity for a Cover Teacher for our schools in the Blackburn area. Requirements:

  • PGCE/QTS qualifications: Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) to ensure the highest standard of education delivery.
  • Strong curriculum knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of the primary curriculum, enabling you to create engaging and effective lessons.
  • Passion for safeguarding: Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupilsren, prioritising their safety and well-being.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Experience working with young people and pupilsren (desired)
  • A great work ethic
  • Ability to adhere to the differing needs of pupils

Responsibilities:

  • Managing Classroom Behavior:Maintaining order and ensuring pupils are engaged in their work.
  • Providing Assistance with Work:Helping pupils with tasks, answering questions, and ensuring they understand instructions.
  • Supervising Work:Monitoring pupils as they complete pre-prepared assignments and ensuring they follow school policies.
  • Collecting and Returning Work:Gathering completed assignments and returning them to the teacher.
  • Reporting Concerns:Notifying the appropriate staff member of any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Following School Policies:Understanding and adhering to the school's policies on behavior, health and safety, and other relevant areas.
  • Ensuring a Positive Learning Environment:Creating a safe, productive, and harmonious classroom atmosphere.
