Job Title: QTS Humanities Teacher

Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join a dedicated and passionate team at a secondary school in East Lancashire for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Geography, History, and/or Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to explore the world and think critically about the past, present, and future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the world's cultures, history, and belief systems
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students succeed
- Promote critical thinking and global awareness within the classroom
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events related to Humanities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Geography, History, and/or Religious Studies in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for Humanities and fostering curiosity in students
