  • Manage and develop a caseload of criminal defence matters
  • Represent clients at police stations and in Magistrates’ Courts
  • Participate in the out-of-hours police station rota
  • Build and maintain strong local and regional networks to grow your caseload
  • Deliver excellent client care and uphold professional standards
  • Conduct your own advocacy where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid practising certificate (SRA or CILEX)
  • Duty Solicitor accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong client following preferred
  • Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent advocacy, communication, and client care skills
  • Business development mindset and ability to network
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach
