My client, an established Law Firm in Blackburn is growing their HDR team. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a respected law firm and be a key player in a well-established and growing team.

The role:The successful applicant will handle a caseload of pre- and post-litigated claims of Housing Disrepair Matters. Focusing on all aspects of housing disrepair claims, you will handle cases from inception to conclusion, complying with the Pre Action-Protocol for Housing Conditions.Key tasks:• Run a caseload of pre- and post-litigation housing conditions claims on behalf of tenants• Comply with Pre Action-Protocol for Housing Disrepair Claims• Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Landlord & Tenant Act• Draft Letters of Claim• Collation of special damages• Liaise with counsel• Issue Court Proceedings• Liaise with and build positive and professional relationships across the businessThe successful applicant:Successful candidates will be a qualified solicitor (ideally 3+ years PQE) with solid experience handling HDR claims both pre and post litigation. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in becoming a team leader and be involved in the growth of this department.
