We are representing a hugely innovative manufacturing organisation who are at the forefront of their specialist field, whilst continuing their growth through the diversification into other markets. Established 30 + years, theyre stable and not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award -winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire.

With a strong pipeline of new products, managing various process development projects and growing aggressively through acquisition, they seek to recruit an innovative manufacturing engineer to focus on new product introduction, capital projects for process development and continuous improvement.

We seek the following:

  • HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or related technical discipline
  • Proven experience in amanufacturing engineer, production engineer, project engineer or continuous improvement engineerin an assembly biased manufacturing environment
  • Experiencemanaging capex projects, from cradle to grave, working with external suppliers.
  • DFM/DFA/FMEA
  • Skilled in usingAutoCADfor the design of process layouts
  • Strong knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques(Lean Six Sigma)and will engineer processes with value added activity and waste reduction in mind

We seek an experienced manufacturing engineer, who can work in a structured and methodical fashion with little supervision, working to a gated process to project deadlines.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to tackle challenging and innovative process development projects, which will truly revolutionise this companys product offering and place in the market.

This is a permanent role offering longevity and career opportunities as this business grows to a multisite specialist in its field, with double digit growth in 2025. Some travel between sites in East Lancashire will be required.
