Purpose of the role

This is a Quality Advisor position covering ENWs capital programme work across the North West of England ensuring robust quality management systems and compliance across design, construction, commissioning and operational phases.

The sucessful Quality Advisor will assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of quality management frameworks, working closely with project managers, construction engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that all works meet stringent quality standards. You will act as a key driver of continuous improvement and quality culture across all projects and operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Manage non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to embed quality best practices throughout the lifecycle of each project
• Advise on the production of and maintenance of quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection and test plans and audit reports
• Provide quality-related training and mentorship to site teams and contractors
• Implement quality activities, communicating with project managers, operations, procurement, contractors and other project personnel to ensure management goals and objectives are met

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Recognised qualification in quality management or engineering (HNC/HND level)
• Through knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards and regulations
• Strong auditing and inspection skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• IT Literate with experience using quality management software and reporting tools
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly across the North West
