What you'll be doing:
- Support all aspects of machine design, including both conceptual and detailed engineering.
- Ensure designs meet Machinery Directive and legislative standards.
- Assist with Risk Assessments and FMEA as part of project safety and reliability.
- Participate in and organise multi-disciplinary design reviews.
- Help produce technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and operation/maintenance guides.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support smooth project delivery.
- Provide on-site or remote technical service support, where required.
What you'll bring:
- A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor or similar).
- Enthusiasm for mechanical design and precision engineering.
- A strong eye for detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, risk assessment practices, or Machinery Directive (a plus, not essential).
