  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on tools, jigs, fixtures and related equipment.
  • To carry out the servicing and repairs of mould tools with the toolroom/moulding and production environment.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations where necessary.
  • Diagnose tooling issues and identify corrective actions to minimise the downtime.
  • Perform regular inspections on tools to ensure they meet company standards and safety requirements.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble precision tools and equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory of tools and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimise tooling for efficiency and quality.
  • Document maintenance activities and complete work order accurately.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a Tooling Mechanic, Toolmaker, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, machine tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with CNC machines and precision equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
