CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Packer/ Quality Control Inspector in Blackburn, BB1.
Duties will include:
- Prepare and pack products for shipment according to company and customer specifications
- Assist in identifying recurring quality issues and recommend improvements
- Document inspection results and report any non-conformities to the supervisor
- Ensure products meet quality standards, including size, color, labeling, and packaging
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for defects or inconsistencies
- Handle products with care to avoid damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area
- Label and seal packages accurately
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or quality control environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Heavy lifting is involved
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills
Shift Pattern:
Monday – Thursday, 7:45am - 4:45pm
Friday, 7:45am - 1:45pm
Pay:
£12.25 per hour
