A vibrant and inclusive inner-city primary school in Peckham is looking for a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a fixed-term contract. About the Role
You’ll be leading a Year 6 class, with full responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment and preparing pupils for KS2 SATs. You’ll benefit from working in a two-form entry structure, sharing planning and support with an experienced year group partner.
The school offers a broad, balanced, and creative curriculum, with a strong emphasis on the arts, sport, and personal development. Pupils are keen to learn, and while the setting comes with the challenges typical of an urban context, behaviour is positively managed with high expectations and clear structures in place.
Support for pupils with additional needs is strong, with experienced learning support assistants working closely alongside class teachers.
