The opportunity offers a high level of autonomy, with the primary goal of driving business performance through a strong blend of business partnering and analytical expertise. You will receive day-to-day mentorship and development from a high-calibre, ACA-qualified Financial Controller.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting in all aspects of financial decision making by providing commercial planning and performance analysis to ensure the delivery of financial targets.
- Business partnering across multiple divisions including Sales and Operations teams to review, understand and develop financial proposals which reflect customer requirements, whilst identifying the most competitive pricing.
- Develop pricing models.
- Analyse production costs, administration expenses and other overhead costs to provide data backed solutions.
- Develop and analyse sales and marketing reports and suggest strategies for improving business performance.
- Provide sound financial appraisals of projects or investments, communicating financial benefits or outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in the budgeting process
- Provide the necessary challenge to ensure the robustness of any reports created.
- Ad hoc project work as the business continues to expand via acquisition
