Administrator Receptionist - Industry Collaboration Zone

£23,557 per annum

Blackburn College’s ‘Industry Collaboration Zone’ has been established to provide a high-tech base for industry and stakeholder collaboration. The Zone supports business start ups and established businesses as well as students and graduates. A programme of conferences, networking events and masterclasses are delivered from the Zone. 

The Role 

As Administrator Receptionist, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the Zone, ensuring that business partners and visitors are given a high level of customer service and that our events are delivered effectively. You will liaise with customers via telephone, online and face to face enquiries. You will often be the first point of contact providing excellent customer service, processing bookings. 

What are we looking for?  

We are looking for some with a good standard of education to Level 2 or equivalent in business related subject (including English and maths), you will also have knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) and experience of working in a clerical / administrative environment.   

You will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills and a high degree of personal drive and motivation to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
