Salary £38,000 per annum rising to £42,000 after 6 month successful probation
Hours Monday to Friday 2pm – 10pm
Permanent role.
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a UK wide Manufacturing company based in Blackburn, Lancashire who are looking for an experienced Shift Manager.
Job Description
- Supervising daily operations of the Manufacturing department.
- Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to.
- Implementing efficient processes and standards.
- Training, guiding and mentoring team members.
- Managing resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Collaborating with other departments to align objectives and strategies.
- Reporting on performance and progress.
A successful Shift Manager should have:
- Experience of 5s Lean
- Preferably from a FMCG background
- Extensive knowledge of industrial/manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- An ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Promotes company values in every aspect of work.
- Strong staff engagement
- Audit awareness with BRC or within food manufacturing.
