PE Teacher - Secondary School, Blackburn, Lancashire
We are excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher on behalf of a well-respected Secondary School located in Blackburn, Lancashire. This is a full-time teaching position to start in September 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to teach Physical Education to pupils in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Position Details:

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Contract: Minimum two terms (with the potential for extension)

Salary: In line with the MPS (Main Pay Scale)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire (easily accessible from Accrington, Darwen, and surrounding areas)

About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated PE Teacher with a real passion for inspiring students in the world of sport and physical education. In this role, you will:

Deliver engaging and varied PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering an active and healthy lifestyle among students

Support pupils in developing their physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship

Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs and sports teams

Contribute to the wider school community through sporting events and competitions

Collaborate with a friendly and supportive team of staff, all focused on promoting the best possible outcomes for students
