Hays Education is working with a fantastic primary school in Blackburn that is looking for a passionate Year 6 Teacher to join their team. Your new roleAs a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary education. You will create engaging and dynamic lessons, support students through SATs, and foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring their confidence and success
- Support students' academic and personal development
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to maximise learning outcomes
- Implement innovative teaching methods to enhance pupil engagement
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
- Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 6
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for education and a commitment to pupil achievement
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners to reach their potential
