We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in East Lancashire for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to provide a high-quality learning experience for all students, including those with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students across various subjects
  • Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
  • Help students with additional learning needs to engage fully in the curriculum
  • Support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Essential)
  • Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
