We are working with a leading name in the Passive Fire industry that has experienced exceptional growth over the past year. We are seeking an experiencedPassive Fire Door Site Supervisorto oversee social housing projects in and around Blackburn
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of fire door installation and maintenance works across multiple residential sites. You will ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards, coordinate site teams, monitor progress, and uphold high levels of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works.
- Ensure all works meet FIRAS/BM TRADA and relevant fire safety standards.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and residents to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks on completed works.
- Manage site documentation, RAMS, and daily reports.
- Promote a safe working environment and adherence to company policies.
- Support and mentor on-site operatives and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Proven background inpassive fire protection, specificallyfire doors(installation, inspections, or remedials).
- MUST haveSMSTS/SSSTS Certification (Within 5 years of course pass providing dated on certification)
- MUST have First Aid Trained (within 3 years of course pass providing dated on certification)
- Experience supervising teams withinsocial housingor similar occupied building environments.
- NVQin Carpentry or Fire Door Installation/Inspection desirable.
- Strong knowledge of relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations.
- FullUK driving licenceandown transport(sites are spread across South Shields/Sunderland).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Available to start next month
