We’re hiring for a Welder Fabricator to join a long-standing engineering business in Blackburn, known for their quality work within the industrial machinery sector.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be contributing to the build of complex components and equipment, playing a vital part in the production of high-performance systems.
What’s on offer?
- £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
- Monday – Friday 7:45am – 4:45pm
- Early finish on Fridays
- Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
- Standard pension scheme
- Standard holiday entitlement
What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?
- MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel from 5mm to 30mm thick
- Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Fabricating and assembling parts for paper machinery
- Operating bending, drilling, and punch press tools
- Finishing duties including grinding and polishing
What do you need?
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience
- Experience working with mild steel (stainless steel experience advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Apprenticeship-trained (advantageous)
