About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for the design team. The role involves creating as-laid drawings of mains and services, maintaining updated records, and ensuring that all relevant parties are kept informed of the latest plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining drawing logs, updating the electronic filing system, and supporting the design team’s efforts with high-quality drawings and documents.
Key Responsibilities:

Drawing Creation: Produce precise and detailed technical drawings for the design team.

As-Laid Drawings: Create accurate as-laid drawings of mains and services.

Record Maintenance: Ensure all relevant people and authorities are updated with the latest project records.

Drawing Logs: Maintain up-to-date logs of all drawings.

Filing System: Keep the electronic filing system current with the latest plans and information.

Document Creation: Use Microsoft Office to create and modify documents.

Site Visits: Visit sites when required to gather accurate data.
What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications: GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English.

AutoCAD Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Sector Experience: Utilities (electrical infrastructure).
