Location: Greenwich - Blackheath Area (Near Blackheath Station)
Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Start Date: After May Half-Term (Continuing into 2025/26 Academic Year)
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Salary: 90-105 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming school in the Blackheath area of Greenwich is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join them after the half-term break and remain for the full academic year ahead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to work alongside experienced teachers in a classroom environment and build essential skills ahead of a PGCE, teacher training or career in education.

• Psychology

• Education Studies

• Childhood & Youth Studies

• English, Maths or Science

• Sociology or Social Work

• Drama or Creative Arts (for creative classroom support)

• Support teaching staff in delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, including those with additional needs

• Assist with classroom activities, behaviour support, and learning resources

• Provide emotional and academic support to pupils throughout the school day

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• A degree (or final year student) in a relevant subject

• Previous experience with children in any setting is a bonus

• A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for working with young learners

• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
