Production and Admin Assistant Location: Blackpool Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (Office-based) Salary: National Minimum Wage Type: Full-time, entry-level Start Date: ImmediateAbout the RoleWe’re looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Production Assistant to join our friendly team at a fast-paced local magazine in Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to break into the world of publishing, media, and digital marketing. You’ll support the production and admin team to help bring each edition of the magazine to life — from booking ads and coordinating with designers, to helping customers with queries and chasing deliveries. You’ll also work closely with the wider commercial team and have the chance to support account managers, making this a great pathway into a future client-facing role.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day admin support to the production and advertising teams Liaise with clients to collect artwork, approve adverts, and chase missing content Maintain production schedules and deadlines Handle customer service queries such as delivery issues or ad concerns Coordinate with printers and distribution partners to track deliveries Keep internal systems and spreadsheets up to date Proofread and check advert and editorial copy Support account managers with bookings, follow-ups and reporting General office admin (answering phones, emails, filing)

What We’re Looking ForA proactive, organised and detail-oriented team player Strong communication skills — both written and verbal Confident handling customer queries and problem-solving Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities A relevant degree (Media, Marketing, Communications, Business etc.) is a bonus Previous customer service experience (e.g. retail, hospitality) is a plus
