Role Purpose

As a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, you will provide expert advice, lead the occupational health team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality health services, supporting employee wellbeing and workplace health standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Advice: Offer professional advice on health-related issues and support to HR and managers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Health Assessments: Conduct medical consultations, health screenings, and vaccinations. Provide reports with recommendations on managing health-related workplace adjustments.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support the OH nursing and admin team, ensuring smooth service delivery.

  • Health Surveillance: Lead health surveillance programs and ensure all required assessments are conducted.

  • Training & Development: Create and deliver health-related training for employees and managers.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential:

    • Registered Nurse (Adults) with current NMC registration

    • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health Nursing

    • Specialist Practitioner qualification in Occupational Health Nursing

    • Significant experience in occupational health nursing, including health screening, vaccinations, and case management.

  • Desirable: HAVS qualification and leadership experience.
