Level 3 Teaching Assistant SEN Provision

Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Hours: 8:45 – 3:45 (half hour lunch) term time only – 32.5 hours per week.

Type: Temporary contract (with possibility of going permanent for the right candidate)

Pay: £20,936 - £22,711 – depending on experience – (term time only – paid weekly calculated on a daily-basis)

Start Date: October 2025

Vida Education are working alongside a large SEN provision in the Fleetwood area who are looking for an experienced or newly qualified level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this position you will be working within a specialist SEND provision catering for children from 4-12 years with a diagnosis of autistic spectrum condition (ASC) and other forms of Complex Needs. The school in the Fleetwood area (FY5) and has been rated Good’ by Ofsted.

School:

• The school support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and present with Challenging behaviours.
• The school is located in Fleetwood with links to the local public transport system.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with children with ASC and complex needs.
• Bring a nurturing, enthusiastic, and reliable presence to the classroom
• Full-time – term time only
• As a level qualified Teaching assistant you may be required to cover full classes for short period whilst the teacher is away.
• Level 3 teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent experience

You would be joining a supportive and progressive team who encourages career progression.

YOU WILL NEED TO

• Have UK Right to Work Status.
• Hold a TA qualification or have relevant work experience.
• Complete a registration with Vida Education which includes holding a current Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service, or you will be prepared to apply for a new ENHANCED DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
