With a strong reputation within the local community, this growing organisation are committed to further developing their services putting their people at the heart of what they do.Key Benefits/ Rewards on Offer:• Full time role, 37 hours per week• LGPS (Local Government Pension Scheme) – 17%+ employer contribution• Various healthcare and wellbeing benefits including eye tests, flu jabs, counselling, online GP and physiotherapy• Discount schemes for travel and childcare • Ongoing continual professional developmentYour New Role as Finance Manager:• Line management of a small accounts team, providing training and support as required• Monthly management accounts production• Preparation of budgets and budget monitoring• Liaison with various external stakeholders including auditors• Providing financial advice and support to budget holders as required• Maintain the rolling financial forecast, highlighting any changes to budget• Oversee and authorise PO’s and invoices • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations• Review and development of existing systems and processesExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply:The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level finance role, ideally with staff supervision/management responsibility. Strong communication and business partnering skills are required as this role involves plenty of cross-functional communication with various non-finance teams.
