Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Catering & Hospitality Teacher to join a secondary school in Blackpool. This is a temporary position, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.
About the Role
We are looking for a Catering & Hospitality Teacher to work within the Design and Technology department of a secondary school in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Catering and Hospitality, including planning and delivering engaging lessons and supporting students' development.
Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Catering and Hospitality.

Supporting students' learning and development in Catering and Hospitality.

Observing and assessing students' progress.

Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment, particularly in practical kitchen settings.

Working effectively as part of a team.
To be considered for this Catering & Hospitality Teacher role you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or an equivalent Catering and Hospitality qualification.

Have experience teaching Catering and Hospitality at the secondary level.

Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Design and Technology, with a focus on Catering and Hospitality.

Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
