We are seeking a French Teacher to join a Secondary School on the Fylde Coast on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective French lessons to students across years 7 to 11. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a love for Languages and helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and support students' progress, providing timely feedback
  • Develop differentiated lesson plans to cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams and other assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum planning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events as required.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching French at KS3 & KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for mathematics and a commitment to student success
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
