About the role:

An exciting, challenging and rewarding long-term career opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Person to join our existing Distribution team at Glasdon UK Limited, Blackpool.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries; ensure accurate stock handling and storage.
• Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods; ensure correct packaging, documentation, and timely shipment.
• Carry out local deliveries as required, ensuring safe and professional customer service.
• Assist with inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised.
• Flexibility to support other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Manual handling and working in varying warehouse conditions.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Practically minded.
• A confident person with good communication skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Basic knowledge of IT literacy.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Must hold a valid RITIB or Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate.
• Must hold a valid Full UK driving license.

Terms and Conditions:

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm.
• 30-minute lunch break plus 10-minute morning and afternoon breaks.
• Monthly Pay in arrears by the 28th day of each month.
