Smart4Chemicals are currently looking for a QC Analyst to join a leading polymer manufacturer in the Northwest of Lancashire on a temporary basis.

To be considered for the role of QC Analyst you will either have previous experience in testing of a variety of materials or be degree/HNC educated in chemistry. No previous experience required as all training will be provided.

As a QC Analyst you will be responsible for routine testing of materials within the testing lab on a daily basis.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate in chemistry looking for their first role, or for someone looking to get back into the industry in a technical capacity.

Role requirements

  • Ideally HNC educated as a minimum in chemistry, polymer chemistry, materials science or a closely related subject.
  • Any previous experience in working in a QC Lab highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of polymers also highly desirable.

Role responsibilities

  • Routine testing of a variety of polymeric materials on a daily basis.
  • Willingness to do overtime as and when required to meet customer orders.
  • Provide analytical support for test method development to enable delivery of test methods.
  • Implement continuous improvement within your own role and contribute to implementation of wider QC CI programmes.
