Eventus Legal are seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Property team of a very well-established firm in Blackpool. This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week (9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break). About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant who is interested in working in both Commercial and Residential property. The main responsibilities in this role are to prepare legal documents and correspondence, and to manage files. Key duties include:

  • File management, including opening, maintaining, and archiving files
  • Liaising with clients and handling pre-contract enquiries
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conducting searches and preparing contract documents
  • Exchanging contracts and completing SDLT returns
  • Preparing documents for completion
  • Registration of title deeds
About You

You will have experience dealing with residential and commercial property matters and will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven ability to support fee earners with conveyancing transactions
  • Familiarity with case management systems
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work independently as well as part of a team
