gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Toolmaker to work at their facility based near Blackpool
Performance Objectives
- Manufacture of press tools, jigs & fixtures
- Service and Repair of associated press tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Provide engineering support to the Production and Press Shop departments.
- Assist all areas of the Works Engineering department when required.
- Liaise with supervisor on maintenance issues and with work schedules.
- Be flexible with working hours, at times additional hours may be required to complete projects.
Person Specification
- Experienced, time served Press Toolmaker
- Experienced in the operation of all toolroom machinery
- Knowledge and substantial experience of Health & Safety in the workplace
- Substantial experience in the industry
- Forklift truck and crane license desirable
- Abrasive wheels certificate desirable
- Full UK driving license.
