Are you a passionate and inspiring Key Stage 1 Teacher ready to shape young minds?

We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant team in Blackpool and Fylde, starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who understands the unique developmental needs of younger learners and is committed to fostering a love for learning. We are offering long term temporary contract roles ranging from 1-3 terms in length, Monday - Friday. Pay for this role will fall between M1-6 pro rata.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong track record of success in primary education.
  • Previous experience teaching within KS1 is essential. Experience in Reception and/or KS2 is highly desirable, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the primary curriculum journey.
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the KS1 National Curriculum is paramount. You'll know how to build on early foundations and prepare pupils for the next stages of their education.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills with a positive and nurturing approach.

Aside from classwork, a KS1 teacher moulds pupils' intellectual and social skills. You promote their emotional development through engagement in social and educational activities. You also coordinate corrective measures in case of behavioural gaps and discuss each pupil's performance with their parents.

Due to the complexity of the role, you require exceptional soft skills. For instance, you need a passion for teaching children and the patience to handle kids. Creativity is also essential for developing unique and enjoyable projects.
