Reed Education is seeking a dynamic MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area on a long-term basis, starting immediately. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in MFL, primarily French, to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
- Utilise strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
- Implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Participate in school meetings and events.
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience teaching MFL, particularly French, at KS3 and KS4 levels. Experience at KS5 is beneficial.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge.
- Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model for students.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with attributes of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
- Must be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
