Teacher of History – Blackpool, Lancashire
Starting October 2025

Vision for Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of History to join a supportive secondary school in Blackpool, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire students and make a real difference. The role will begin in October 2025 and will initially run until Christmas, with the potential to become permanent from February half term.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of History to deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.

This is a temporary position starting in October 2025 to cover a staff resignation, with the possibility of a permanent contract from February. As a Teacher of History in Blackpool, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ academic development and fostering a genuine love for learning about the past.
