Children’s Social Work Team ManagerTeam : Family Safeguarding Location : BlackpoolPay Rate : Ā£40.88A Children's Team Manager for Family Safeguarding is required in Blackpool.We require an experienced Team Manager within the area of children’s Safeguarding to join our service to cover maternity leave.

The service comprises of a multi-disciplinary team of social workers, family workers, recovery workers, domestic abuse workers, domestic abuse officers and business support workers, to provide a co-ordinated approach to deliver the best possible outcomes to our children and families.Within Blackpool Family Safeguarding, the Team Manager is responsible for leading a team of five social workers (one senior social worker) and a family worker, ensuring health and wellbeing of all staff alongside adherence with our statutory responsibilities. The team complete pre-birth assessments, children and family assessments and support families at child in need, child protection, PLO, private law and care proceedings. The role of the Team Manager is therefore to role model and strive for good practice at all levels to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and families, doing so through regular quality assurance, high quality personal and group supervision, alongside chairing a variety of complex meetings.
