Are you a resilient, proactive individual with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs?

A specialist SEN school in Blackpool is seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, during term time.



The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with a variety of needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory challenges. You'll work closely with the teaching team to provide tailored support that helps students to engage, progress, and thrive.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Assist in delivering learning activities and managing behaviour

  • Help implement individual education and care plans

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment

  • Provide personal care where needed (training provided)



Ideal Candidate:
