Are you passionate about delivering engaging, meaningful learning in a supportive and inclusive setting?Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a specialist provision to recruit an experienced and confident Child Development Tutor to work with Year 10-11 students who present Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour. This is a part-time role (2 days per week), ideal for someone looking to make a focused and lasting impact.

About the Role:* Delivering Child Development lessons to small groups of KS4 pupils* Tailoring content to engage students who may be working below expected levels* Supporting students in completing coursework and preparing for assessments* Working alongside pastoral and SEN teams to manage behaviour and ensure emotional wellbeing* Creating a safe, respectful learning environment that builds confidence and motivation

The Ideal Candidate Will:* Have teaching or tutoring experience, ideally with KS4 students* Be confident delivering Child Development or Health & Social Care content* Have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs or within alternative provision settings* Demonstrate resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education* Be confident in managing behaviour and building trust with disengaged learners
