If so, Randstad is looking for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Blackpool starting this September!

This highly rewarding role is perfect for someone who wants to work closely with students who require additional support. You'll need to be understanding of specific needs and have a positive, mentoring approach. While qualifications are a plus, we're primarily looking for someone with excellent transferable skills and a passion for working with children.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students' physical, social, and emotional well-being.

  • Working effectively as part of a dedicated team.

  • Mentoring and guiding students who need extra support.

  • Using strong communication and behavioral management skills to help resolve classroom issues.

  • Listening, discussing, and explaining concepts to students.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working or volunteering with SEN pupils.

  • A strong desire to work with children who have special educational needs or behavioral challenges.

  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Knowledge of the school curriculum.
