Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Engineer for a Bread Manufacturing Company in Blackwood, Newport.
The position involves maintenance tasks on packaging equipment and machinery, including PLC fault-finding and installations.
Candidates should have experience in PPM and reactive maintenance, as well as electrical and mechanical maintenance.
This role requires a rotating 3 shift pattern covering 24/5 production.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Bread Manufacturing Company in Blackwood, Newport who are looking to add another Engineer to their Maintenance team covering 24/5 production onsite.

Working a rotating 3 shift pattern (8 hour shifts - mornings, afternoons & nights)

You'll be tasked with the following:

PPM and reactive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, flow-wrappers etc
PLC fault-finding (Programming if you can!)
Machinery installations
Electrical maintenance, fault-finding, testing and inspection work
Mechanical machinery maintenance
