Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL

  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes good behaviour and effective learning

  • Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues

  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, school events, and CPD

  • Take part in school-wide initiatives, trips, clubs, or assemblies as required

  • Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at all times



Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)

  • Proven ability to teach effectively and manage a classroom

  • Commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
