A market leading manufacturer of specialised equipment are currently looking to recruit for an Electrical Build Engineer for their family run business. Are you looking for a business that prioritises a healthy work / life balance? My client offers a 4 day working week to allow you that extra day weekend.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role requires technical leadership of electrical installations in an efficient manner to ensure first of type and subsequent machines are delivered in accordance with the build programmes. The role is a hands-on production-based role.

  • Responsible for electrical installs within production of plant and equipment.
  • Liaise with Design department to enable efficient production of systems.
  • Offer support, guidance and mentoring to more junior members of the team.
  • Effectively manage own time in accordance with build schedule and project priorities.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the assembly/build documentation are kept up to date during (FOT) assembly.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in an Electrical Technician or similar role
  • Practical experience in manufacturing and assembly environments
  • Yellow plant background preferred but not essential (construction and earth-moving equipment, quarrying equipment, and fork-lift trucks)
