We are currently working with an established distribution organisation who actively seeking two production operatives to work on both sites.
The purpose of the role is to clean, quality check and pack the products
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Travelling between Blaydon and Gateshead Depot
Lifting and emptying bags into hoppers
Washing products through dipping raw materials into bleach
Working on a production line picking goods and raw materials
Packing products into boxes ready to be loaded onto shipping containers
Quality checking stocks against product specifications
Working in the warehouse handballing boxes onto pallets
Site maintenance and general house keeping dutiesPerson Specification:
Previous production/warehouse experience would be advantageous but not essential
Able to travel between two sites based in Gateshead and Blaydon
Happy with heavy lifting (15-20kg bags)
Team playerHours of Operation:
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 - 16:30
Friday - 06:00 - 14:30This is an on going temporary assignment for the right person
