We are seeking a First Line IT Engineer to join our growing managed service help desk. This is a very exciting time to join a thriving business where growth and development is certain!
The First Line Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring their IT systems are functioning optimally.
Responsibilities of an IT support technician
- Respond to technical support requests from clients via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Provide support for clients' desktop and laptop computers, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
- Document technical issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
Requirements of first line support technician:
- 1+ years of experience in technical support or a related field.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
