You will be responsible for supporting the wider finance team by preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid business decision-making. You will also assist in cost control, variance analysis, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with company policies

My client are a global engineering company specialising in the installation and infrastructure of subsea infrastructure.

Description

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support in budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide analysis for cost control and expenditure
  • Assist with year-end audit preparations
  • Contribute to financial reporting
  • Handle queries related to finance from internal teams
  • Adhere to regulatory standards and company policies

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Accountancy based role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with financial software
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
